Ce sont d\u2019anciennes sabli\u00e8res&nbsp; qui sont d\u00e9sormais exploit\u00e9es comme zone de captage de l\u2019eau brute pour l\u2019agglom\u00e9ration de Nancy. Elle permettait de relier le village aux terres situ\u00e9es entre le canal et la Moselle o\u00f9 se trouvent aujourd\u2019hui des anciennes sabli\u00e8res. Elle est&nbsp; la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Voies Navigables de France.
