Il est ponctu\u00e9 d\u2019ouvrages remarquables tels que la grande \u00e9cluse de R\u00e9chicourt et le plan inclin\u00e9 d\u2019Arzviller, un des ouvrages les plus fr\u00e9quent\u00e9s en France par les adeptes de la plaisance fluviale. Avec sa chute d\u2019eau allant de 15,45 m \u00e0 16,18 m, elle est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme la plus haute \u00e9cluse au gabarit Freycinet de France. Cet ouvrage en b\u00e9ton massif a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit afin de remplacer une succession de 6 \u00e9cluses, et permet le passage des bateaux en 30 min contre 6 h auparavant. Elle est situ\u00e9e au c\u0153ur d\u2019un territoire naturel exceptionnel&nbsp;: le Parc Naturel R\u00e9gional de Lorraine, d\u2019une zone Natura 2000 et d\u2019une R\u00e9serve de la Biosph\u00e8re reconnue au patrimoine mondiale de l\u2019Unesco.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"222\" height=\"126\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alcollot.fr\/lorvelo-et-patrimoine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-51.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5263\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Divers am\u00e9nagements (espace pique-nique, barbecue, terrain de p\u00e9tanque, bo\u00eete \u00e0 livre\u2026) offrent aux visiteurs un moment de d\u00e9tente dans un cadre bucolique entre eau et nature, ponctu\u00e9 d\u2019impressionnants passages de bateaux dans l\u2019\u00e9cluse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Le site offre \u00e9galement un acc\u00e8s facile \u00e0 l\u2019arboretum de R\u00e9chicourt-le-Ch\u00e2teau et au sentier d\u2019interpr\u00e9tation de 5 kilom\u00e8tres \u00ab\u202fLes reflets du canal\u202f\u00bb qui permet de cheminer entre histoire et biodiversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-small-font-size\">Le plan inclin\u00e9 de Saint-Louis-Arzviller<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Mis en service en 1969 apr\u00e8s 4 ann\u00e9es de travaux, cet ouvrage monumental et incontournable des voies navigables de France a permis de remplacer 17 \u00e9cluses traditionnelles situ\u00e9es dans la <em>Vall\u00e9e des Eclusiers<\/em> toute proche.
