Le plan tr\u00e8s simple (narthex, nef, ch\u0153ur) est mis en \u00e9vidence par des volumes diff\u00e9rents. Le grand clocher, d\u00e9cor\u00e9 d&rsquo;une tr\u00e8s grande croix blanche, surmonte l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e. Le toit de la nef, en 3 compartiments, s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ve progressivement vers le ch\u0153ur parall\u00e9l\u00e9pip\u00e9dique. Ce dernier a quatre baies sur chaque mur lat\u00e9ral et est plus \u00e9clair\u00e9 que la nef, dont les fen\u00eatres plus espac\u00e9es sont masqu\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur par des biologiques et \u00e9cologiques sont mises en \u00e9vidence depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. Le fonctionnement actif de la rivi\u00e8re permet \u00e9galement le d\u00e9veloppement de zones humides en lien direct avec le cours d\u2019eau (bancs de sables et galets, annexes hydrauliques, &#8230;) de forte valeur \u00e9cologique. Les enjeux \u00e9cologiques concernent nombre de groupes biologiques (amphibiens, insectes, oiseaux, chauves-souris, poissons et flore).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Paysage : D\u2019une valeur paysag\u00e8re ind\u00e9niable, la vall\u00e9e de la Meurthe pr\u00e9sente un enjeu paysager important. La rivi\u00e8re coule au sein d\u2019une vall\u00e9e doucement encaiss\u00e9e aux coteaux peu abrupts. Les champs cultiv\u00e9s et les prairies s\u2019imbriquent dans les boisements alluviaux et les plantations. Les m\u00e9andres de la Meurthe apportent \u00e9galement une diversit\u00e9 paysag\u00e8re notable \u00e0 la vall\u00e9e. Les axes routiers permettent de nombreux points de vue sur la vall\u00e9e (RN59, nouvelle 2&#215;2 voies). Quatorze sont hospitalis\u00e9es, mais toutes survivent, donnant l&rsquo;impression d&rsquo;un prodige miraculeux. Souvent gravement choqu\u00e9s, ces fulgur\u00e9s installent une forme de communaut\u00e9 entre eux. Leurs cas int\u00e9ressent les sp\u00e9cialistes de la k\u00e9raunopathologie, scientifiques \u00e9tudiant les dommages que la foudre cause sur le corps humain. Leur histoire, par ses aspects humains et heureux, int\u00e9resse \u00e9galement les m\u00e9dias. Cet \u00e9pisode a inspir\u00e9 le t\u00e9l\u00e9film La Fulgur\u00e9e diffus\u00e9 sur France3 en mai 2024.
