class=\"has-small-font-size\">La n\u00e9cropole nationale de Courbesseaux regroupe les d\u00e9pouilles de soldats morts pour la France lors de la bataille du Grand Couronn\u00e9 en ao\u00fbt et septembre 1914. Cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1920, ce cimeti\u00e8re national tout comme celui de Champenoux conserve le souvenir de l\u2019extr\u00eame violence des combats qui se sont d\u00e9roul\u00e9s devant Nancy. Jusqu\u2019en 1935, les restes mortels d\u2019autres combattants fran\u00e7ais inhum\u00e9s initialement dans d&rsquo;autres cimeti\u00e8res militaires de la r\u00e9gion y sont transf\u00e9r\u00e9s.
