vers l&rsquo;industrie textile en 1894 avec (entre autres) les \u00e9tablissements Kahn, Lang et Manuel qui poss\u00e9daient d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u2019usine des Grands Sables \u00e0 Epinal. Elle a connu son essor principal d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle avec l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e du personnage phare de cette r\u00e9gion Marcel Boussac. Son usine textile \u00e0 l\u2019architecture classique en sheds comportait un tissage et une filature. Ainsi l&rsquo;aspect g\u00e9om\u00e9trique du plan du quartier ouvrier d&rsquo;Igney est-il renforc\u00e9 par ces derni\u00e8res constructions de l&rsquo;industrie textile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Le b\u00e2ti d&rsquo;Igney juxtapose donc un vieux noyau villageois, finalement peu transform\u00e9 par l&rsquo;industrie, \u00e0 un gros quartier ouvrier accol\u00e9 \u00e0 son usine ; la dualit\u00e9 est renforc\u00e9e par la voie ferr\u00e9e qui s\u00e9pare ces deux parties d&rsquo;une m\u00eame agglom\u00e9ration.
