Depuis hier, la Moselle, rivi\u00e8re devenue canal, est, en effet, ouverte officiellement \u00e0 la navigation commerciale, sur 270 kilom\u00e8tres depuis le port de Thionville-Illange jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Coblence, o\u00f9 ses eaux se m\u00ealent \u00e0 celles du Rhin. Cette r\u00e9alisation &#8211; la plus importante encore jamais accomplie en commun par trois nations europ\u00e9ennes et qui a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 7 ans de travaux&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a anciennement num\u00e9rot\u00e9e 53. Elle est d\u00e9sormais r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux bateaux de plaisance pour \u00e9conomiser les volumes d\u2019eau trop importants, lors des \u00ab&nbsp;lachures&nbsp;\u00bb de l\u2019\u00e9cluse \u00e0 grand gabarit. Les 5 anciennes \u00e9cluses entre Messein et Toul sont d\u00e9sormais remplac\u00e9es par 3 \u00e9cluses \u00e0 grand gabarit de Chaudeney, Villey-le-Sec et Neuves-Maisons.
