Il offre ainsi un large panorama, la For\u00eat-Noire \u00e0 l&rsquo;est, le Jura, la trou\u00e9e de Belfort et, par temps clair, la cha\u00eene des Alpes bernoises et le mont Blanc au sud, et les cr\u00eates des Vosges au nord. Elle se situe dans une zone de montagne de 550m \u00e0 1250m d&rsquo;altitude, 2500 hectares de for\u00eat (principalement de sapins et d&rsquo;\u00e9pic\u00e9as).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux villages voisins l&rsquo;entourent : Bussang et Fresse sur Moselle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle et Bussang ne forment, au Moyen Age, qu&rsquo;une seule et m\u00eame commune : \u00ab\u00a0Visentine\u00a0\u00bb. Saint-Maurice a subi beaucoup de changements avec le temps.
